  OK. Too late to edit my above post. After more reading, I found where the US Court papers saying Doris Nelson, is being accused of building a network of 800 investors, many of whom bought promissory notes assuring them of a 40% to 60% annual return. (???)

  I don't want to post this, because it is so outrageous. If this were true... and I am not saying it is, because it is just wacko crazy. Only nutter's or small children would fall for this. (If the page I got this off of was correct and didn't mess up their numbers) then I take back what I said. Even if the investors were JW's, I no longer feel sorry for them being taken. This has been a ponzy scheme, just waiting to attract, naive, innocent, OK, gullible JW types.

  This reminds me of when Russell or Rutherford was selling so called by them, Miracle Wheat, from the pages of the Watchtower to it's gullible members. Shameful on WT's part. Stupid on it's members for believing these liars and paying good money for overpriced regular wheat kernels. I have no idea why no one sued them. Intimidation?

  -----> PAKOCH. Is a BIG JW name in Manitoba. The father of the clan, Peter Pakoch, was a JW that started the Versatile Tractor Co. The father had mucho dinero. I have never heard of Penny or Rob Pakoch. Unusual name, especially among JW's.

  After all the Dill's are named, next comes... Lilrob Ltd. lol I suppose next to Bernie Madoff, the Dill's figured, their's was just a little rob ( bery ) job. Sick.

  I feel sorry for the JDubs who lost their money to these swindlers. JDubs are trained not to have critical thinking skills. They are trained through abuse, that they have to listen, have to obey or they will be kicked out and lose family and friends.

  glad to see the forum is going strong, lots of new names and stories......and it has only been a couple of months!.

  the wt really has no chance in such a world of free and accessible information.

  keep fighting guys, the freedom once you are loose of the governing body is awesome, you will be amazed how long you ignored the stench off bullshit as your ability to smell it returns.. and on that note ;) x. .

  when i first started 'pioneering' at aged 19 i was encouraged by my so called spiritual leaders(elders) to do window cleaning.

  which i did but could never make enough to support myself, so i had to take a second part time job which was also a cleaner at a primary school.

  i was always broke and always poor.. what never really clicked with me until many years after leaving was that none of these so called elder spiritual guides did window cleaning or pioneered themselves.. in fact they did the very opposite and lived very full and rich lives.. one ran his own building firm and dealt with milt-million pound contracts, another had his own very successful double glazing business, another was some kind of mechanical engineer who worked for some big multi-national organisation, another was a chemical engineer, another owned and ran his own very busy printing firm.

  it is amazing to look back at three years and see the journey that we have taken.

  i went from being an elder to fading completely in the course of those three years.

  along the way i am happy to say that my lovely wife woke up and realized that the truth is nothing but a lie.

  someting happened yesterday that i thought might be noteworty enough to relate to you here.. mrs. eyz and i were invited to my new boss's home for his annual end of summer party.

  it's a pretty big deal....his is a name known locally (i'll call him j.r.) a really nice interesting guy who's held a number of high level and politically connected jobs.

  there was to be music, dancing, wine and reprotedly lots of well dressed, well educated, well to do and influential people (oh yes...and us) in attendance.. anyway we thought we'd make an occasion out of it and got ourselves spiffed up which involved new outfits and extra mirror time before we left home.

  i'm a single hispanic guy in my mid 30s living by myself in suburban america.

  i own a home in the kind of neighborhood where you have to get hoa permission to do just about anything, including chopping down a tree.

  i'm a white collar worker and lead a pretty boring life.

  Would you be able to print up some leaflets and go knock on your neighbors door, inviting them to your place for a front yard "Neighborhood Appreciation BBQ"???

  (The idea being you appreciate their quiet and mannerly behavior, and you are so thankful, NOT to have nosy neighbors (lol) that you would like to throw a little party. You will be supplying the hot dogs and buns and if they would like to bring along some salads, potato chip and or dessert, that would be great!

  Ask if they could bring along some extra patio chairs to sit on. If you don't have a BBQ, ask your neighbor (who you know has one) if he wouldn't mind rolling his BBQ over and manning the grill.

  Have the kids blow up some balloons and tie them off with string and use them to "decorate" your yard (backs of chairs) before the regular (older) guests come. Kids will love it.

  If one of the ladies has flowers in her yard, admire them and ask if she wouldn't mind cutting some for a bouquet for the table.

  If people ask what should they bring, tell them to bring what makes them happy.

  Hopefully all the neighbors will get to know each other better and will have a good time and thank you for the great party.

  Have a few games ready. Croquet. You could have a list of games on your invite sheet . As in: Does anyone have a croquet set they could bring? Hoola hoops? Checkerboard? Or???

  I can make up games at the drop of a hat. PM me if you need any long distance assistance.

  Sometimes, half the fun of a party is the excitement of anticipation. lol I am already thinking of all the fun and all the new people you will meet.

  In a newspaper article from 2 years ago, 12 June 2012, this thing, (he doesn't even deserve a capital t, in my name for him) when asked if he had molested this girl his plea was, "I am absolutely not guilty".

  That statement would put him in a cozy position at ANY JW.org congregation in the world.
